I'm trained in the Baby-Led Sleep Approach, which starts with respecting your baby's need for closeness rather than working around it. As an RN and a mother myself, I bring both clinical training and real 3 a.m. experience to the table. My goal is to help you understand what normal baby sleep actually looks like so you can trust your own instincts again, not follow a script that ignores them. I believe rest and connection are not mutually exclusive, and that nurture during the day AND night has the power to change our world.

Think of sleep as a puzzle with a lot of pieces. My job is to look at everything that could be affecting it, for your child and for you, and give you education, tools, and a plan that gets you real rest without giving up attachment. A good chunk of what I do is also checking in on you. Have you eaten today? Had a shower? Been outside? Your mental health and nervous system regulation matter.

I take my scope of practice seriously. I assess, educate, and support, but I don't diagnose or treat. If anything comes up that needs a closer look, I'll help connect you with a qualified provider who can take it from there.
-
No. If you're looking for a rigid formula or a set number of nights to hit a specific result, this isn't the right fit. Sleep is a natural function, not a skill that has to be taught. What I can help with is ruling out the things that are actually getting in the way of it, as well as maximizing your rest while supporting your child's normal development.
-
No, not for any length of time, not for any reason. There is ample research confirming that the nurture and responsiveness of a loving caregiver benefits the child in every way. Tears themselves aren't the problem. Leaving a child to cry without comfort is what I won't recommend, ever.
-
I don't take insurance directly, but I offer payment plans, and if cost is a barrier, reach out and we'll figure out what might work. If you have an HSA account, I can provide documentation for reimbursement. Coverage isn't guaranteed, but many administrators do reimburse sleep support, and I'm happy to help you check.
-
Absolutely. During intake, I ask questions that get into how you feel about sleep, because that history shapes how you're showing up for your child now. If your own story includes difficult memories or history around sleep training or pressure to do things a certain way, you're not the only one, and this is a place to work through that. I'm not a therapist, so if something needs deeper support, I'll point you toward someone who can help with that specifically.
